Meredith Kleinman Design is a full service design firm that does projects ranging from new construction to full remodels to small scale decorating. We are based in Los Angeles, but have done projects throughout the country, and are always enthusiastically willing to work abroad. In Los Angeles, we work with a team of skilled and licensed subcontractors who are as passionate about their craft as we are.

Meredith studied Interior Design and Architecture at Woodbury University. After graduating, she moved to New York City to begin a career as a resident artist for Peter Marino Architect + Associates whose client list includes Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Christian Dior. Before returning to Los Angeles and establishing her own design firm, she spent several years abroad where she learned from artisans and acquired both European and Japanese design sensibilities.

Over the years, Meredith has worked on a wide range of residential projects, some of which won her an awards on design sponge and apartment therapy. Others include celebrity homes, and corporate clients such as The Grove at Fairfax.

She loves working with a wide range of clientele including those who can’t typically afford professional design work. She is a designer who leans toward a hands on approach, and many projects include things made or adapted by her. She strongly believes homes are meant to have individual personality and not look machine made or decorated from a catalogue. She is a strong advocate for indoor/outdoor living and site specific design. When applicable, she will offer her services to do custom paintwork if need be. She truly loves the creative process and being able to exceed the goals of her clients.
